Rose hip (rosa canin) extract
Rose Hip Extract is extracted from the fruit of Rose Hip plant, that typically in red to orange in color that usually develop after successful pollination of flowers in spring or early summer, and ripen in late summer through autumn.
Studies found that Rose Hip Extract has anti-inflammatory properties. Evidence suggests that Rose Hip Extract may be effective in relieving symptoms associates with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoarthritis. Rose Hip Extract contains Polyphenols which are believed to ease joint inflammation and prevent joint damage. It is also rich in Vitamin C, which has antioxidant properties. Antioxidants are substances that can over-ride harmful molecules (free radicles) which may cause tissue damage or disease. Other studies found that it can reduce the production of specific enzymes that break down cartilage.
